Championship night for the Golden State King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series is on deck this Saturday evening in Hanford, with the 26th Cotton Classic ready to fire off!
Keeping that in mind “KWS Tonight” this Thursday at 7pm pst will feature two of the top sprint car drivers in California calling in to discuss the season and preview this weekend’s big event.
First up we will have Placerville competitor and former Golden State 410 Rookie of the Year Andy Gregg on the line, as he and his Bret Ervin Racing team get ready for a huge night on Saturday. The always colorful driver currently ranks seventh in the KWS points, but is only 10-markers out of the fifth position.
Following Andy we’ll have current KWS point leader Tim Kaeding phone in to speak about his solid 2011 campaign, which includes six wins and top-five finishes in all but one race. The San Jose veteran will look to put a cap on the championship this Saturday at the Cotton Classic and give Roth Motorsports its first California title.
Gary Thomas and George Hague will also give last minute thoughts on the 26th Cotton Classic and what to expect on Saturday at the Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway.
