Whadda yah think,Smoke gonna run it. ?Jason Johnson is on top of his game too and its on his schedule,Dale Blaney and Tim,probably, maybe Cap Henry, who else maybe, Kenny Adams slipping in or Wayne Johnson even...the McIowans,or perhaps the Hoffmans will bolt in a Shaver and bring the California Kid in to size up the scene. Its gonna be balls to the wall racing and fast,it is forecast to be warm so it will probably be dust in ten laps.....or,or,will Cody be unleashed to kick ass at home, would he be posse or outlaw then....more duhs, ifs, and maybe's and what if the slasher from LA would find a way to get that green car East and pick their pockets, now that would wind your watch up for a day or two.The real sleeper could Lethal Lee and the Memphis Magician again.Yahoo,we can't wait....

The only thing you can count on when you have that many great cars/owners/drivers/teams in one place (ESPECIALLY the grove) is an electric atmosphere and great racing, and a great weekend.
To answer the questions above: I don't see Tony jeopardizing a Cup points lead. Jason Johnson would be an upset winner. Dale Blaney and Tim will definitely be here, if the breaks go their way, their in it for sure. Heard the California kid went home after Eldora? Was hoping since he was already this far east, maybe he had a ride, would love to watch first hand. Cody had a much better chance when he was running the family car and winning races consistently, I think his confidence is off for good reason, and at the Grove I don't think the kkr 91 could touch the Joe Darrah 89. Tyler won't be here. Lee and Greg aren't sleepers when the WoO rolls into town, for 3 consecutive seasons they've won more WoO races at Williams Grove then they have local races non-sanctioned ones, they obviously both live for these weekends.

ahhh, didn't realize that. Can't believe the All-Stars would schedule a race at Eldora to compete against the Open. I guess they'll get some Ohio cars...they won't get any other big travelers beyond their own 2.

I think the Posse takes night 1, with either Pittman or Hodnett winning and the Outlaws take night 2 most likely Schatzy or Sammy.
Also was surprised/dissapointed the All-Stars have a race that weekend.
Ready for an awesome weekend of racing and a great atmosphere no matter who wins. That's something the haters on this board don't understand. The locals obviously want the WG regulars to take the win, but if they don't that doesn't stop them from having a great time. And if the Posse does win, we will see half of the bragging that we've seen from the west coast in the past few weeks.

Don't they dock points if you miss an ASCoC race for another race?

Exactly. The atmosphere at the Grove this weekend will be 2nd to none and while it's fun to see a local car win, it's a VERY small part of the night. Getting to see the best 410 winged sprint car drivers in the world, and the best local field in the world in one place is just amazing. The B-Main both nights would be a $40 show most anywhere else in the country.

The tension right before the start of an Outlaw show at the Grove is 2nd only to Knoxville. Can't wait for Showtime at Williams Grove Speedway

I don't see any of the Allstars running the Grove Sat night, Allstar race is too easy for them to win!! The composition at the Grove will be to tough for the Allstars!!! My guess would be all the outlaw regs, most of the Posse regs, with a few surprises!!!!!! 40---50 cars to time!!!

The field is too tough for Tim Shaffer? Not sure if I can agree with that.

Well, last year he ran 2nd at the prelim for the National Open. Are you actually telling me you think Tim Shaffer isn't a threat to win at Williams Grove, or any track for that matter?

Yeah I agree with you here. He must not know or forgot Tim was a weekly regular in Central Pa for awhile sometime ago.

I almost forgot the Open was this weekend. I'll be there early Friday to save my seats. The Fireworks alone will be worth the price of admission!

Steel City POSSE (Tim Shaffer) can run the Grove better than the provisional circus carnies...good thing for some of them that fans still buy t shirts!

Smoke is entered in the Knoxville Late Model Nationals..........................will he run it, who knows?? But he is on the entry list and the track, I've heard, usually pays him well to run there.
