BUSINESS PLAN ANNOUNCED AT SELECTED INDIANA FACILITIES

The United States Auto Club has announced that it will no longer conduct business at racing facilities under the organization of race organizer Dave Allison. Affected are 2007 events in Indiana at the Terre Haute Action Track, Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville and Twin Cities Raceway Park in North Vernon.

“It is unfortunate that we have had to make this decision,” said USAC President Rollie Helmling. “Circumstances last year and this year have led to this decision which we feel is in the best interests of USAC and its participants and fans.”

Since this decision affects the 2007 Indiana Sprint Week calendar, an announcement regarding alterations in the Indiana Sprint Week schedule will be forthcoming. Lucas Oil USAC National Sprint Car races at North Vernon July 11, Putnamville July 14 and Terre Haute July 19 have been removed from the 2007 calendar.

I applaud this conceptualism Mr.Helming. The sport comes first and I as a fan expect that. Best of luck with the very popular USAC Sprint Week.

Allright Allison!!! ....Way to go!!...... Buy MORE tracks and have USAC sucking wind!!!!! ....Allison is my hero!!!!

Of course....im being sarcastic here. While I'm no USAC fan, Allison would ruin every track in the nation if he had a hold of all the tracks. How this guy thinks he can promote is beyond me.
