I read a lot of sniping back and forth about the Grove, about racing out in California, and about which area of the country has best weekly racing.
Isn't that what the Knoxville Nationals is for? to bring out the best of the best and let's see who wins, see who from where makes up the top ten.
I would also throw in the Little Rock Nationals, another very good national major event: A) it's a true short track and B) it's for 360's. this gives the local guy a chance

Well, If you want a true test, the race should be held at a track where no driver has ever ran before. You can't run a track that runs a weekly show and call it a true test!!!! 410,360, 0r 305!!!
I think you misunderstood the post, It is more about the toughest place to win on a weekly basis, not the best driver!!!

Yep. But don't tell KWS fan that none of his local drivers made the A.

If think you overlooked a few. While they may be driving WoO series cars and or moved from Calif., Brad Sweet, Paul McMahan and Jason Meyers are or were from Calif.

I didn't over look anyone. California has bred some great drivers in the past and they have some great current WoO drivers, but the post was about local weekly talent.

Who really gives a shit. In my mind they are all great drivers or they wouldn't be doing it. Who cares where they race or where they are from.
