am going to be running some steel block 360 wingless stuff. was just wondering if it was practical to run the wingless stuff with a 4 bar, 4 shock set up? what other changes should I make for the wingless car? we are allowed a cockpit weight adjuster, are they worth it??
thanks guys!!

if you've never ran without a wing before, don't try to get fancy with weight jackers, etc. just do your normal routine. take a little stagger out and get the RR out a lil more and feel the car out 1st! Don't try to back it in at the flagstand or anything crazy, you'll be fine. It's still a sprint car.
do it in the dirt

Block the bout 1/2" lower than normal ,,run about 2" less stagger and tie the left side down bout 4/6 on the left front 3/8 on the left rear ,,if you can put a longer front axle in like 51" ,if you don't wanna spend the money on an axle put a 3" on the left front instead of the 4" off ,,the biggest mistake most people make is listening to advice like meat bag ,you need to turn the car way sooner if your on the gas its nothing like a wing car and its not gonna turn on the wing and youl back it into the fence or barrel roll ,,

Ask Brady Bacon how well a 4bar car with no coils or no sway bar works non wing...from the tight banked 1/4 mile at Grain Valley to the big flat fast half mile at Knoxville he ran fast as hell with his regular winged car and some adjustments...
Jesse Hockett spent many years using the same car for 360, 410, winged and non wing races....took lots of work to keep switching them over but his results speak for themselves...
Actually, look very closely at a bunch of non wing pics, especially of the guys who run both winged and non wing...you will notice plenty of 4bar cars with no coils on the front....you will also notice quite a few cars with sway bar mounts on the front but no sway bar actually hooked up or installed.
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.
