Years ago the NCRA, had I believe a 100" wheelbase, not so anymore only 90" max. under their rules,in this day and age, all the trick stuff out there, what would be the ideal wheelbase for a 305c.i. sprinter with wings ?.I was just curious about this because years back guys moved the front ends all over the place.Has any one organization set up a wheelbase rule or a standard for this type of car.? Personally I think the 305 rule will keep more people in the game, thus more racers, and a future for sprint cars.Any replys appreciated.

all 3 classes 305-360-410 use the same wheel bases. most often they are 86-87-88 inches. in theory the 86 inch on shorter tracks and 88 inch on larger tracks, but all seem to win on a variety of tracks. go into knoxville raceway, then go to rules.
