We got the obvious. Jerry Stone, Tony Armstrong Pete Frazier and Ron Shuman. Of course Derrill Brazeal was the first dirver. But did Derrill turn a competitive lap or did the accident happen on the first night. Did Jan Opperman ever actually drive a 21. He was suppose to replace Derrill? I think a OKC driver raced the modified??

I think Jerry Hailey, I forgot to add in USAC in 1985 Silver Crown Series there were Kramer Williamson at IRP, Tom Bigelow at the Hoosier 100, and Sammy Swindell at the USAC vs NCRA Challenge race at Tampa, Florida. It was the Grant King car.

It is a FaceBook deal with Angie Ewell. She is having supper with a racing friend and the question came up.

Warren, I believe there are some pics I sent you way back when Darrell B. ran at 81 NCRA in the Ofixco car ,very late 70's car was Red/Blue then and Darrell was driving it, going to say 1979. Then it went to Orange/Black.
Mike, Jerry Hailey did run the V6 for Ofixico back in Mid 80's on 1/4 mile at OKC, those V6's were quite an issue to make them live and run well back then, John Stewart I bet remembers all to well the days of the V6 on the 1/4 mile.

I remember Hailey at Lawton for sure. He hardly ever had to take the hood off.
The most work I saw them do was clean the car after each race. That was 1986
I have footage of Tulsa 1986, and there is a 6 cylinder mod there too, and I know Hailey was in Lawton, and Frazier was in the Champ Dirt cars by then.

As I recall Jan drove the Ofixco 1 time after Darrell got hurt by the photographer and Jan had a problem with the cars and went to Mr Stephens and Mr Sephens told and that he would Stand by his Mechanic and they would get someone else to drive.
