That was a freaky looking scene at Ocean Speedway.
Any locals know did the track handle the situation as safely as possible? On the Kyle Larson video you can't see everything but you can hear the crowd getting angry and perceiving that the safety crew was not being quick enough. Maybe the crowd was just fired up in that instant and weren't realizing the difficulties of a fire safety crew.

I thought the safety crew did a good job of getting to him and getting the fire out. He pulled in to the infield directly in front of where I was sitting and I saw no flames until he stopped the car and bailed out. Not sure if it was Mike Andreeta who was the first to him but two workers were there spraying him soon after. FYI the OB1 motorsports Facebook page says he went dirt bike riding Sunday. I hope he heals quickly. Nothing as scary as fire.

I should have watched the video first. Looks like the two safety workers were there before Mike. At the 2:30 mark of the video you can see Orval pulling in to the infield. By the time the camera zooms on him at the 2:39 mark Orval is out of the car and they are spraying him. I'd say good job by everyone.
