Cody Morris, TULSA, OK (8-29-11) - A trio of Tulsa area talents lead the Lucas Oil American Small Car Series into a double dose of Labor Day Weekend action featuring a return to series roots as all four Lucas Oil ASCS2 classes headline Friday night's grand reopening of Emmett Hahn's Creek County Speedway.

The Lucas Oil ASCS2 Outlaw, Non Wing, and Restricted divisions will then shift 85 miles north on Highway 169 before parking a mile south of the Kansas border for the first Lucas Oil American Small Car Series event in ASCS2 history at South Coffeyville, Oklahoma's Mid America Speedway.

Sapulpa, Oklahoma's reigning 2010 Lucas Oil ASCS2 Outlaw Champion Blake Hahn leads the Outlaw division into the holiday weekend double. A two time feature winner in 2011, the sensational 2011 Tulsa Shootout Outlaw sweeper leads Coweta native Kade Morton by 184 markers in his quest to be the first back to back champion in Lucas Oil ASCS2 Outlaw history. Edmond, Oklahoma's Will Harvey enters the weekend third in Outlaw points, 234 points off the leading pace.

Glenpool, Oklahoma native and Director of Competition for the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour, Matt Ward leads the action packed Lucas Oil ASCS2 Non Wing division into the Labor Day Weekend double. On the strength of 7 top ten finishes in nine events, Ward leads Pauls Valley, Oklahoma's 2010 Lucas Oil ASCS2 Non Wing runner up and two time 2011 Non Wing winner Steven Shebester by 57 points.

After missing Lucas Oil ASCS2 preliminary night action at Duttons Speedway on the 4th of July weekend due to ashpalt Late Model commitments, Oklahoma City native and two time 2011 Non Wing feature event winner Trey Marcham straddles the 3rd position entering Labor Day Weekend action, 105 markers behind Ward's leading pace.

A four time winner in 2011 Lucas Oil ASCS2 Restricted competition, Coweta, Oklahoma's Chance Morton has often seemed unstoppable in the 2011 Lucas Oil ASCS2 Restricted campaign. Morton brings a stout 107 point lead into the weekend double over Atoka's Austin Shores, who picked up the first win of his racing career in Lucas Oil ASCS2 Restricted action at I-44 Speedway in May.

Cyril, Oklahoma's Cord Dodson enters the Labor Day Weekend double third in the 2011 Lucas Oil ASCS2 Restricted campaign, 153 markers behind Morton's leading pace.

Now in their sophmore season, the Lucas Oil ASCS EcoTec Midgets recently broke ground into the Sunshine State with an August 19th outing aced by Blake Hahn. Fellow Tulsa Shootout standout and former Lucas Oil ASCS2 Outlaw Champion Donnie Ray Crawford scored his first Lucas Oil ASCS EcoTec Midget victory the following night at Mid America Speedway.

Located on Highway 66 between Sapulpa and Kellyville, Oklahoma, Creek County Speedway was built by the Hahn family in 1990. The semi banked, quarter mile oval helped launch the ASCS 360ci winged sprint cars, also owned and operated by the Hahn family.

Now in its' 20th year of operation, the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series is the premier sprint car racing sanctioning body in United States, featuring approximately 200 nights of action between 10 regional series' and the star studded Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour.

Creek County Speedway also provided a cornerstone in establishing the Lucas Oil American Small Car Series in 2006. Now in its' sixth season of operation, the 2011 Lucas Oil American Small Car Series showcases 18 events across Oklahoma, Texas, and Missouri.

The Lucas Oil ASCS2 Outlaw, Non Wing, and Restricted divisions will be joined by the Lucas Oil ASCS EcoTec Midgets and local champ sprints at Friday night's reopening of Creek County Speedway. Creek County heat race action will get underway at 730pm.

Labor Day Weekend action will conclude at Mid America Speedway with the Lucas Oil ASCS2 Outlaw, Non Wing, and Restricted divisions supported by weekly Modifieds, B Modifieds, Street Stock, Factory Stock, Pure Stock, and Turf Tire mini sprints. Saturday night's Lucas Oil ASCS2 invasion of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma's Mid America Speedway is set to begin at 8pm.
