The 2011 Louie Vermeil Classic will once again see a host of pre-race events take the stage as build up for feirce Non-Wing sprint cars and midgets on California's oldest operating dirt track (1937). The festiviites begin Saturday 1pm for the annual Wine Pouring event. An impressive group of 19 local wineries have committed to pour wine for unlimited tasting for until 4pm. Sunday will begin at 1pm with the 2nd annual Beer Garden. The Budweiser Girls will girls will be on hand to greet the enthusiastic tasters. A dozen breweries have signed up to pour their best drafts until 4pm. The participating breweries are as follows:

Both the Wine Pouring and Beer Garden will also provide gourmet sausage sampling provided courtesy of The Sausage Factor, Inc. With the purchase of either a wine/pilsner commemorative glass, you will receive two sausage sampling tickets. Commemorative wine/pilsner glasses are just $10, Additional sausage sampling tickets are only $2 for 3 tickets and bottled water is $1 each. All persons entering the wine pouring/beer garden area must purchase either a commemorative glass, sausage tickets or at minimum a water in order to gain admission.
This year's popular Raffle/Auction has its best set of collectable items that has ever been offered at the Louie Vermeil Classic. The highlight includes Hendrick Motorsports door panels autographed by Mark Martin, Jimmy Johnson, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Jeff Gordon. These collectables have been placed on Ebay for auction. The Louie Vermeil Classic organizers continuously strive to add a diverse range of events at inexpensive prices so that everyone can afford to participate.
