from what i understand there is a generous purse to be awarded to the trophy dash participants this saturday night at the 51st running of the Johnny Key Classic at Ocean Speedway.
the six pre-qualified drivers will draw for position and run a six lap "Dash For Cash" that will not only line up the first 3 rows of the Johnny Key Classic according to dash finishing positions, but will also reward the dash teams with some extra cash.
pre-qualified drivers in the dash are Tim Kaeding, Kyle Larson, Tommy Tarlton Rico Abreu, Ronnie Day and Justin Sanders.
Dash For Cash purse:
1st- $751
2nd- $451
3rd- $251
4th- $151
5th- $151
6th- $51
to indy and beyond!!

Hey Buzz in your Key format post it says the semi's are 12 laps, the press release says 20 laps?

my info is that they will be 12 laps.
that is per samantha.
sorry for the discrepancy.
should we have gone with 12 1/2 instead?

yeah but 50 laps on a quarter mile track is 12 1/2 miles
so if we run a 12 1/2 lap dash and a 12 1/2 mile main
we might end up with car 121 1/2 in the winner circle.
