Their is no excuse at all for Garfield Co not to have the track ready 3 weeks after the damage, Why would anybody want to run a track with a jacked up county like we got running the show, think it is time to bring them email address back up and give them hell. Let them know that the racing community is big enough to make a difference in the voting in this county till we get someone in their that cares about the historic track.

From what I am told, since it owned by the city, they have to have bids submitted and I think the deadline is tomorrow (Friday). There is so much damage, I am told, that in now way can repairs be made before race time.

A top member of the fairboard has been in constant contact with Speedways Inc. (almost daily) to keep them up to date as to what is going on.

I hope this somewhat gives you an honest idea on what is going on.

Somebody get some pics and post them for us to see that damage.

Forget about voting anyone in office there is NOT nearly enough racers that even vote, what's that?

Even if you got a movement going, racers wouldn't be able to agree on anyone either.

The little building were you get your arm bands for the pits is in a hundred pieces on the front strait. The grandstands are missing some seats. It got some pretty bad damage out there.

first of all the damage is very real, second of all its owned by the county not the city...

The pic that jimmy sent is good but doesnt show the extensive damge to almost everything out there.

I'm one of the first to yell when I see something foul but this is very legitimate...

Is more of a surprise to me to see a post from another promoter with the comments it had...

See everyone at the September race...
