...is Kraig Kinser out of the Caseys #6? I just noticed a picture on inside line promotions(who is covering the Front Rown Challenge tonight) and it showed a photo of Kraig Kinser driving a blue and orange #22K and looks like the hauler is one of his dads old haulers. Now, it could be that the owner of the Caseys car(is it still Lonnie Parsons?) just didnt want his car in this race so Kraig is driving his own car or could it be that Kraig is indeed out of the ride? I have to say it might be a godsend for Kraig because I dont the Caseys car is "top notch equipment" sotospeak. Seems like anybody that has been in that ride isnt in it long because they struggle so bad.

I know in 2009 Kinser ran a different car (black 22K if I remember right) at the FRC and was still in the TSR 20 for the Nationals.
I've seen this rumor other places though, not sure if it's just speculation or what.

Danny Lasoski had 6 WoO wins in 2 years in the 6 car with a 6th and a 9th place finish in the points. It would be hard to find anybody who had better results in that car. For some reason that car seems to be a penalty box.

Tim Shaffer did fairly well for himself in the 6.

FRC wasnt an outlaw race and the Caseys and Kinser combo are an Outlaw team.
I don't aim to please.
I aim to hit the target.

You obviously didnt look at the picture too hard, there is a caseys logo plastered on the side of the racecar. Something tells me that if he was out of the caseys car, their logo wouldnt be on his car

Yeah, he never won the Knoxville Nationals in the six, he did in the 83, and a preliminary night the year before that in the 83. His talent was wasted in the six, now he's one of the best in the country. He had zero wins in the 6 in 2007 with the outlaws, and he ran full-time.

For what it's worth, Kraig finished 9th after starting 14th. How often does he pass 5 cars in his regular ride? Just saying....

Since we are asking questions, how about this one?
How many rides does Kraig Kinser need to prove that he just doesnt have what it takes to be a WoO driver? He has been in the 20 TSR car, his daddy's car 11K and now the 6 car. Are you gonna tell me that all 3 of these rides werent good enough to win in, let alone run top 5 every now and then? When he was in the 20 car, they gave him the cars, motors and even crew-chief that he/his dad wanted. When he was in the 11k (a couple times), he had all he wanted, and now it's the 6 car. Why doensnt anyone ever think that maybe the driver just cant get it done. Yea, he won the Nationals a long time ago. What exactly has he done since then besides run alot of B and C mains?

I agree. It won't be to much longer before the only ride he can get is his dads cars. But will Steve be able to find sponsors?

Why is it that every driver is quicker once they have left the 6 car. Maybe its time to start looking in other areas other than the driver and mechanic.

Not hating on Kraig Kinser but I seem to remember the nationals he won, his dad was behind him pretty much the whole race. Which kinda tells me he (Steve) was blocking for his kid to win it. I could be wrong, but hey Kraig seems like a nice guy and doesn't seem big headed about being a Kinser at all. I know he did horribly in Nascar though... I still say he's worthy to be an outlaw though.

I sure hope that winking smiley means that was sarcastic.
I'm not certain without looking it up but I believe Schatz was 2nd and The Dude was 3rd the year Kraig won the Nats. Who was blocking those guys?
