How does the format work for a double show?
Do they run the Thursday qualifiers first and then the
Friday group?
Will they start early?

They said they will start at the regular time. 6:45 hot laps. I don't know about the format but I think they might just time the first group, then time the second group, then run the heats, etc. I don't know for sure but I would think it would be better than doing a complete show, work the track and then do another complete show. They should post it on their site.
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

They will qualify Thursday cars then Friday cars. Then they will alternate races.

This weather this year has had a bullseye on Knoxville to make things horrible....
At least the 360 fans won't have to sit thru a rubber down daytime show.
I always wondered why if they lost either night of the 410 qualifiers (Weds. or Thurs.) that they didn't use Friday night as the alternative and run the Friday night show early Saturday (11:00 a.m. or so) so the two best nights of the week weren't compromised by a rubber down daytime track.
I know ....parades and town activities take precedent over putting on a good show for the paying fans.
But when they loose Friday night (as in last year for example) ... bingo ...they still run on Saturday morning.

Are they timing or drawing to set up the heats? I know they've done both in the past with a Thurs/Fri combo night, but it's been a while (timed in '01 -- drew in '03-'05). I like the way they did it in '01: everybody drew for the qualifying order (which is only fair - why penalize Friday guys by making them go out last to qualify??!) ... everybody timed... and they split the field into odd/even for the heats. With as many quality cars as we have, there is too good of a chance to have a stacked heat race if it is a blind draw.

Yo' Bill, the friggin' Weather Channel shows rain again tonite, arghhhhh. Tell me they're wrong like they are most of the time and will they wait a much longer time to get this show in if mositure strikes? Could the 360 Nat's be put together as a Sat. Sun show, would that even be thought of? Enjoy......
