Kenny leaves Eldora in Weikerts car. Sorry the video is a little rough. Also shows some highlights of the Kings Royal.

Ahhhh, the good ol' days when the Posse actually travelled (Kenny in the Weikerts Livestock car)....
Sap, you've been gone some time now, finally made bail or work release or the likes???? Great to see you participating again....

That must be the 2nd time he went out of the Ballpark during the King's Royal weekend in the Wiekert 29.
I remember watching him go out just exiting turn #2 during hotlaps in 87 or 88 (can't remember which) in the Wiekert 29 and the officials didn't even notice (he landed in the creek behind the backstretch). The crew just backed another car out of the trailer and started preparing it to go.
It was my first trip to Eldora, I'll never forget that and the turn 1 and 2 lights being 6 pick-up trucks with their headlights on.

Ha ha. Just been in lurking mode for awhile.
I wasn't at that race but I remember going to the Wapakoneta Holiday Inn the next morning to see the car. Weikert was holding court while his crew was still picking Wabash river seaweed out of the front end!
Vande, I don't remember Kenny leaving the park twice but I think Jimmy Sills destroyed a Weikert car the year before during the 1988 Kings Royal weekend. Also in turns 1 & 2.
