Ok I know this isn't a "good" thing to do but I have seen it on another site and was wondering if you had any info. The rumor is Wayne County Speedway has been/will be sold. Do you know anything and how will this effect speedweeks? This was one of the shows I had originally planned on attending.

Wayne county had a fire ( concession stand offices and electrical system ) and probably wasnt going to be ready for the speed week show and probably was going to be changed to a diffierent track

Yes, I knew all of this. But I heard the other night that he (ernie) was going to sell it. Then saw it on another forum which now everyone else on that forum is saying probably/will not happen. I was just wondering if Mr. Swamp heard anything about it and how if this is true, would effect the speedweek schedule or if it's been effected already.

Stay tuned...I can't release any of the details - but good things are on the horizon. I won't jinx it by talking about it before anything is official - but there should be some news coming out soon regarding WCS and Speedweek.
No - Tony Stewart didn't buy it.
