I have an e-mail that says Whiskey Lake Raceway at Junction City is have a vintage weekend next weekend. Cars from the Missouri group and the Kansas group. I wonder if it is the Nebraska group and the Missouri group. I have not heard anything about KARS being there.?????

Sounds like we need to try and support this track from quite a few emails. The Thompson brothers are involved in this track and it needs your support. I just can't understand why a town with a military base can't support a racetrack. How many thousand live in the Junction City/Fort Riley/Manhattan area. 52,000 in Manhattan, Junction City 20,000, Fort Riley 42,000. Or this way Riley county (Manhattan) 71,000, Geary county (Junction City) 34,000. Not sure how they count military and college students?

Sure wish they would schedule a vintage event down that way. Great that Bob McCall got Roger Thompson to wheel his vintage car. Makes the event when they show up. Would like to see Roger get 10 laps on the track by himself, just to really air out the car. I never see him that I don't think of the picture from Enid. Dues paid in full, then some.
