PR:
Russ Hall, rookie in the 360 class at Knoxville, just came off of his best weekend to date. The night started with a solid 2nd place showing in the heat race which locked him firmly in the Main event for the night. In only his 5th night in a 360 winged sprint car, he found himself looking at his first top five from his 8th place start.
"We got up to 5th when a caution came out and I could feel a vibration in the right rear tire. We found out after the race that the spacer had worked loose and also worked the nut off. All we could do was hold on from there."
Hold on he did and brought the Skillz Motorsports #29 home to a respectable 10th place finish. "We're working hard every week and getting better and better. We just need a little luck to come our way."
This weekend the Skillz team will head to Donnellson, Ia. on Fri. and Columbus Junction, Ia. on Sunday for a couple of Sprint Invaders races. They will also sandwich Knoxville on Sat.
Russ would like to thank Waterfront Seafood, T&R Concrete and Ballistic Designs for all there help getting to the racetrack. Stop by and see Russ and the guys after the races.

Ever hear of attributing your quotes?
"We got up to 5th when a caution came out and I could feel a vibration in the right rear tire," said Hall. "We found out after the race that the spacer had worked loose and also worked the nut off. All we could do was hold on from there."
