As I said in the previous memo about this subject,I was and still am suspect to this deal, however,it is Kasey's money and G'Clips money,so they can and will do what they want.As far K'ville lets see how it goes the next few weeks so people might get their wish but good luck to all.

Darrah never was ready for the 91, we knew he'd struggle. Kyle Larsen would struggle too. If you want that car to go to the front, put a veteran like Pittman or Kaeding in it.

Give Cody another couple months. The WoO doesn't race that much anymore. If things don't get better, put Pittman in it. The WoO doesn't have many cars but the ones that are there are very tough.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Do we need to compound this thread with the one about 'How long does it take for a driver to learn"?

Larson struggle?? You havent been paying attention, he wins in everything he drives. Look at his finishes up at the ASCS northwest speedweek, all 2nds and a win last night. He has won in the USAC NATIONAL midgets and by most peoples standards had the best racing battles during midget week. He is just plain good. He out performed seasoned Outlaw veterans while they were out here in California. Larson is a rare talent not to be compared with the average racer.
Cheers!

Thank you Henry. Got nothing against Darrah. Won't jump on the "kick him outta the car" wagon either. Would just like to see Kyle have a chance to race some of the big tracks, Kville, Eldora...Hell, one race at the Grove and you guys'd be calling, I mean claiming him posse! just kidding guys...easy

Kyle Larson would give the Outlaw field all they could handle most every night, even in the Kaeding Performance 99 he drives out here. He IS that rare talent and I'm no longer surprised by how he adapts to any type of car or track he's on. I'm a fan of and would love to see Pittman and Kaeding back on the Outlaw tour too but young Larson would definitely hold his own with those two.

Had the chance to watch Kyle race the past few nights in Oregon. Gotta agree he`s the real deal. But I think he`s not gonna be in sprints too long, Someone`s going to bring him up to NASCAR soon, and I think he know`s it. Thats why he`s doing a lot of USAC racing lately, both pavement and dirt. Great quote from him after his win at Willamette thursday night..."Racing on pavement isn`t as boring as it looks!"

Then someone get him a Nationals ride, because if he keeps beating 20 cars in ASCS races in Oregon and doesn't have a KWS win this season then he won't get noticed. Darrah got noticed because he beat the WoO at his hometrack (something Kyle hasn't done) then went to Nationals and set quick time (only to get plowed into). Yes, I realize the Darrah family had more $$$ and resources to get Cody out there, but Kyle isn't doing himself any favors by having 0 410 winged wins this year. To be able to jump from non-wing to wing back to non-wing on a weekly basis is an extremely tough task now he just needs some big $$$ behind him.
If Kyle went to Nationals and put it in the show, he would have a WoO ride for 2012. Someone tell him to get in contact with Tom Buch, the 13 still doesn't have a driver.

Yea, I know what you mean. Racing against the weak talent like Sowold, Crockett, Johnson and Crawley doesn`t prove much. I must be crazy to even think he might be good

Oh believe me the right people are noticing what Kyle can do. I like Darrah and wish him no troubles but a win in PA against the WoO or not his resume is slim compared to Larson. Just the facts. He outperformed Darrah at every WoO race out here in California in the spring with arguably lesser quality equipment compared to the Kahne machines. Kyle is a smart racer of the likes I have seen only in people such as but not limited to Steve Kinser and Donny Shatz. He waits to pounce on the competition at the right time which is why he rarely ever tears shit up. Enjoy him while he is in Sprint cars folks cause its only a matter of time for the taxi circuit to come knocking.
Cheers!

Dirt wtf are talking about......Kyle is definitely more disciplined then Cody he set foot in a midget then in a non-wing car and has run good. I personally have no ill will towards Cody, but stupid remarks will get the same response back. Cody at this point couldn't hold Kyle's helmet bag. He just doesn't race everything and good to be in that category.
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

Ha Ha ! Good point! But at least he would be heading for the front when he tears it up, and you`ll remember he was there! Always fun to watch TK!!!

you obviously don't live here in Cali and second don't remember him NOT tearing up any equipment in the Steve Kinser Car when he drove it......Remember he was the only guy in the car and 14 races that year and not trashing the car! He hasn't done any of the above this year and won't not for $50,000 to ein for the owner plus what he get's......dumb-ass
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

Yes, but what I'm saying is Cody won against the Outlaws at his local track, Kyle didn't.

Where did I mention anything about Cody being disciplined...or Kyle being disciplined? If Kyle wants to get more noticed and get a top notch ride, he needs to either start winning every KWS race(he has 0 wins this year on the circuit) or travel with the sprinter and do well at Nationals.
