Lodging plans fell through for this years Nationals. Will be staying in camper, question is where. Anybody have or know of anything with elec. hookup.- Thanks in advance.

L & J Automotive in Knoxville, IA has camping spots available for both 360 and 410 Nationals for 2011. L & J Automotive is located two block southeast of the Knoxville Raceway. It is within walking distance of all the main attractions that the town of Knoxville has to offer. We offer electrical hook ups, bathroom, shower (open during posted hours). Spot sizes vary. Prices are as seen below.
We have two separate lots and at the north lot where L & J Automotive is located has 6 spots left:

Races: 360 Nationals, USAC/305, Front Row Challenge & Ultimate Challenge:
Dates: August 4th to August 9th:
Full Service Camping Spot: $25 per night (includes electrical hook up)
No Service (Spot Only): $15 per night

Races: 410 Nationals
Dates: August 10th to August 14th:
Full Service Camping Spot: $50 per night (includes electrical hook up)
No Service (Spot Only): $25 per night

Call me at (641) 218-8271 and we will get you set up. Our rates are comparable and often times cheaper then the North Campground in Knoxville, IA. Very friendly atmosphere with lots of die hard race fans. There aren't many spots that can beat this location, 2 blocks southeast of race track off Highway 14.

Elk Rock State Park. Just North of the track about 5-7 minutes. First Come first serve spots with electrical hookups. Usually you can just roll in. 16 a night.
