Great stuff Gary!! Always good to keep up on the west coast racing scene out here in the ATL. I went to a few KWS races earlier this year when visiting family, and was real impressed with Rico Abreu. Where did that kid come from? From the Santa Maria video is sure doesn't look like he's slowed down any. The kid is a big time gasser. Wow, very impressive!! I think we'll be talking about him quite a bit in the years to come.

Congrats to JA on the win!

2014 Races:
Feb: Volusia (WoO/AllStarts)
Mar: Vegas, Tucson, Tulare, Merced, Chico (WoO)
Apr: Calistoga, Hanford (WoO), Tulare (KWS), Pevely (WoO)
May: TBD

You got it! Rico came out of the Outlaw Karts and is an amazing talent. He was an on the gas kid for sure in the Karts and that has carried over into the sprints.

Funny, I just watched that video and the first thing I thought of was who was the 89? Really gonna be a good one, would be a great story if he could make it big time.

Rico was very impressive all night starting right out in hot laps. He was faaast! He will definitely get some wins. The King of the West has some really great talent brewing as well as seasoned veterans. I couldn't ask for more as a fan. It was a very fun night at the races for sure. http://ricoabreuracing.com/index.html
