I'm deciding on whether to go to the Jackson Nationals or go to River Cities Speedway. I've been to Jackson once before but the track wasn't very good and and there were only 16 cars. I've never been to Grand Forks but it is just a regular night. I live in Watertown so its about the same for drive, being about a half hour farther to Grand Forks. Just want an opinion on what will be a better show.

Are you talking about the Jackson Nationals on August 19 & 20 or the Jackson sprint car special tomorrow night?
If you are talking about the night of August 19, River Cities has the World of Outlaw sprint cars there (it's posted on their schedule now).
But the Jackson Nationals has the ASCS National touring series on August 19 & 20.
Both would be great shows to see. JMO
Tomorrow looks like an awesome show @ Jackson Speedway w/ $5000 to win for the ASCS Midwest regional sprint cars.

Go to G.F. and you will wonder why you don't go there more often. Trust me that place is the bomb for high bank short track racing. Even the taxi cab races are good.

Grand Forks has a great regular weekend show. 16 to 22 Unlimited late models and 20 to 25 Outlaw sprints, on a high-banked track. Also, your seating is close to the track. Hell, you can sit as close as you want. Two banks of bleachers on each side of the main grandstands. A plus is the 25 to 30 Midwest Modified which put on a great show along with the street stocks. Always close racing in all classes on this little track.
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

Jackson is now $5,500 to win for the 360s and 800 to win for the 305s., and by the looks of things, there should be 30-35 360s, with the likes of Jason Johnson, Shane Stewart, Tony Bruce Jr, Wayne Johnson, Danny Lasoski, Brian Brown, Clint Garner, Jack Dover, Billy Alley and possibly Kevin Swindell. Throw them in with the rest of the Jackson regulars and the Sioux Falls racers and I would think just the star power would trump a weekly show at Grand Forks.

What other classes will be racing at Jackson? As of now I am probably just going to Jackson because of all the drivers that will be there.

305 Spirnts, and we do have them at $800 to win, so we should see a good field of them as well.

If the Outlaws weren't going to be half an hour from here tonight I'd opt for Jackson. Their big all Sprint shows are great.
