All in all, despite the heat, it was a good show. Temps in excess of 100 degrees in the afternoon on into the evening. Still in the low 80's when I went home. The track actually held up well.

Congratulations to Mike Spencer and crew. They showed us all how it is done. That old man (Rip Williams)still seems to have a few tricks up his driving suit. He got by Nick Faas on a restart after a yellow to capture 2nd. Nic Faas after looking like he was going to challenge Mike Spencer settled for a solid third place finish. I hope that I am there when he gets his 1st main event win. Ronnie Gardner had a good night. Quick time and 4th in the main.

A few crashes, but nothing that would be called devastating. Which means that the teams won't be buying parts to replace broken parts. Instead they will be buying "Go Faster" parts.

Oh yeah, the fireworks were superb. Thanks to the staff at the PAS, the drivers and their crews for entertaining me so well.

My apologies, the heat must have been getting to me. I saw the car on the hook afterwards and it wasn't pretty.

Ditto, and thank you PAS for running the sprint main first while the track was still good, for anyone that has not been to the PAS for one of these big shows you owe it to yourself to go. These people do it right.

It was a great show and the Pinks hot dogs are awesome even though I miss the Sour Kraut! The PAS finally has food fit for human consumption, lol!
