What's really ridiculous is people who don't have any money involved in Kkr thinking they should have an opinion on who drives kaseys cars ,

TK? I guess that makes sense? Replace a young driver who tears up a lot of equipment and whos also good for the sponsor, with someone whos a older crasher and wouldnt fit the sponsors image. As far as that goes Haud nor Swindell would fit into the role (cant speak about Allard, can honestly say Ive seen him race a few times, but never seen his face, personality). Kasey has what he has for a reason, you guys need to figure out how to get to that level, then you can decide who drives YOUR car wink.

You're not Kasey so you can't have an opinion? Makes sense. Since you're not your favorite teams gm/athletic director, you can't have an opinion on whether or not your coach should keep his job or if a quarterback should be drafted. Its a MESSAGE BOARD. We come here to discuss our opinions. Nothing pisses me off more than "You can't criticize whoever because you never played in the nfl or drove a sprint car". The hell I can't. It's called having an opinion. So while I'm not qualified to drive for KKR, I am qualified as a fan to make observations about who I think would be a better fit for Kasey's team. I tend to agree I think there are better options than Darrah, however if he is able to development into a guy who can win for years to come, its a good investment. Jac, TK etc are win now guys, but there's little to no potential to win a title with those guys. Darrah has potential in a few years if Kasey is patient enough with him.

Mark is very good. He races three nights a week and with his business maybe he is happy with what he is doing. He has a good team and co-owner. One of the nicest guys in the pits too

There were changes made with the crew recently...first year struggles, no worries Cody keep focused on the process that it takes to compete at this level and you'll succeed. Develop and refine the process that it takes to be consistent then worry about winning...

Darrah is young and he's fast. There's not a driver out there who has been as fast as him at such a young age who didn't tear up a lot of stuff. Give him a break, he was one of the youngest to win a WoO race and it's his first full season with the WoO.

So his opinion is that you should not have that opinion so what your point

I think you can have a opinion but if you haven't walked in the shoes it does not count

In a small defense to Pee Wee. So, unless you walk a mile in someones shoes, then you can't have an opinion on them. I have a huge bad opinion on Charles Manson but I never did walk a mile in his shoes, so my opinion of him is not valid?

*Edit, I am by no means calling anyone Manson. Just stating a point. Yeah, i have no idea how to pilot a sprint car. (I also am not a serial killer) but I think I can have an opinion on seeing the actions and performance of people.

Plus, I like Cody, He just needs to calm it down. KKR has the money to develop a driver, a luxury not lot of teams do. Investing time and money into a driver can pay off, if you have money like KKR

The great ones undoubtedly showed promise but the same inconsistent results early on in their careers, too.

Maybe today with the increased $$$ involved it magnifies the stress on the driver & the owner to produce NOW, not in a few years.

Any discussion of drivers that can step in a WoO car & make a difference without mentioning the name Daryn Pittman... not the best research of "available drivers" IMO. He's a difference maker.

Message boards are all about bouncing ideas and opinions for EVERYONE. I've always disliked the "you're not a driver/mechanic/owner so you don't deserve an opinion" arguments. Yes, those directly involved probably are more accurate but everyone's opinion should be welcomed on a board like this.

Anything that stifles discussion, creativity and original thought is no good IMO. Saying you're incapable of coming up with an idea that could impact the finances, safety or overall quality of racing because you're not a driver/owner/mechanic... yeah, the odds are slimmer that you would but you still COULD.

People should listen more and open their mind a little more nowadays.
