Jon Allard was 2nd quick, 2nd in his heat race and 6th in the A-main after starting 15th to give him a 10-point lead in the Dirt Cup standings over Thursday winner Shane Stewart.
The exact same program of qualifying, heats and main events will be run tonight, as drivers try to gain as many points as they can going into Saturday's $40,000-to-win finale.

GT or anyone else who knows, do both nights points count towards the lineup determinations for Sat's shows or only the best 1 of the 2 nights counting, which is how i recall it being in the passt?

Yeah both night's count towards Saturday now. I think they did away with the old format where they did the best of two nights about 8 years ago or so.

How about Ian Madsen has been a top 5 car the last few races with the exception at cottage grove.
