LAWRENCEBURG VICTORY BOOSTS CLAUSON TO INDIANA MIDGET WEEK LEAD

Lawrenceburg, IN........Bryan Clauson of Noblesville, Ind. will lead the USAC Mopar National Midget Series to Sunday night's Indiana Midget Week finale at the Kokomo Speedway after winning Saturday night's 30-lapper at Lawrenceburg Speedway. Clauson got by Steve Buckwalter on lap six and led the last 25 laps in his Parker Stone Spike/Esslinger Ford. Clauson, the fastest Lawrenceburg qualifier, has an 11-point lead on Kyle Larson going into the Kokomo race. Michael Pickens finished second at Lawrenceburg, ahead of Larson, Tracy Hines and Darren Hagen.

Elk Grove vs Carmichael! Having been a long time fan of Brian and a friend of Bob Clauson, Brian's granddad and Monica, my head says Clauson, but having seen Kyle run my heart says Larson. There must be methanol in the Elk Grove water supply to produce all these great drivers.

Kyle finished ahead of Clauson tonight but Clauson won the Midget Week title by six points
