I have to disagree...The race leader starts the race at the white line and the 21 got on the gas out of reaction to the 11, quite a bit in front of the line.
|
WOO rules states the leader on a double file restart can get on the gas anytime after they reach turn 3, Brown got on the gas a little in turn 3 and Steve reacted and that was the end of Brown, because hisfirst mistake was taking the low side for the restart, when the high side was the fastest way around Lakeside.

How can you fall asleep on the restart when you are setting the pace?

I am not talking about Brian Brown or Steve Kinser!! I am talking about the flagman. With a jump like that throw the yellow down the back stretch and restart them. The way I see it is Kinser gambled on the start to get the jump and it worked.

Brownie is forever using the brake check. He started to go after the 3rd turn and Steve went!
