Steve is my favorite driver, but I think that he got lucky last night. On the last restart, he deffinitely got on the gas before the 21 car. He was leading by the time that they got to the flag stand. Brown was very gracious in the post race interview, but he did state that he thougth Steve left on him early.
I think that if the roles would have been reversed that the yellow flag would have came out and Brown would have been penalized for jumping the start. I guess it is good to be the King, and you get a benefit of the doubt.
Long live the King.

Nothing more than his usual, went to Knoxville and won the 360 race Fri. and got to come home (or across the KC Metro area) and run, and run well with the Outlaws. A good weekend for the FVP team.

Its called experience and not sleeping on the restart. No favoritism at all.

I have to disagree...The race leader starts the race at the white line and the 21 got on the gas out of reaction to the 11, quite a bit in front of the line.

How can you fall asleep on the restart when you are setting the pace?

Kinser definitely jumped the restart, but with no lapped traffic to contend with, there's about an 80% chance he would have passed Brown anyway. Looking forward to seeng Brown try again this Saturday night in Knoxville.
