I have to say that if it were not for the yellow flags, Matt Mitchell might have lapped the entire field. He was that much faster.
All in all a very good night for racing. The track held up despite the oh so cold dry wind.
Thirty three laps was a nice touch to honor Indy. How about instead of fours they do a "threes" on the Indy salute night.

Was unable to attend, but watched online. Thanks for the feed to all who worked on it. Mitchell was untouchable. I was VERY impressed by The Moose Crew. Big props to Greg Bragg and his fantastic car owners Tom and Laurie. They deserve a result like that.

where do I start
1.too damn many sprint cars
2.too many butts in the stands
3.A race track that was too damn racey (in spite of mother natures attempt to ruin it)
4.WAY too much excitemnt on track
5.A show that was too well run
6. a pretty entertaining live band (for us old Pharts)
the only good thing was the bone chilling wind
Now all kidding aside thanks USAC and the entire PAS staff and the teams for A GREAT showROB

I also would like to thank the PAS staff for booting those VRA guys outside so we could race. When we arrived the pit was full. They said we might have to pit outside. At that point we were concidering turning around and going home until one the staff (I believe his name is Steve) told us to wait a few minutes so they could figure out what to do.Then they told us to pull in and wait for an area to be cleared. It happenned to be the VRA section. While we were wating one the VRA idiots stopped his truck on the way out and yelled out his window at us.He said something like,I HOPE YOU GUYS HAVE BAD LUCK TONIGHT AND GET UPSIDE-DOWN.Those "crop dusters"belong in a museum not on the race track anymore.Anyway I just thought I would share this with you. However our luck did change for the better.Especially whe Rod barely missed that left rear tire that came off the #88 car.Man that scared the hell out of me(and Rod).My thanks again to the PAS crew.

GREAT SHOW last night, maybe there is hope after all if car & fan counts can be even close to what we had last night there just might be a light at the end of the tunnel we have all been staring into !

Hey raj,
We towed 105 miles to Ventura 23 times last year and 5 times already this year instead of the 55 mile tow to The PAS. I doubt Jim thinks that we haven't supported him.
