Agree with this editorial. What came first the track or the houses around it. This is an issue that so many tracks face. They have neighborhoods that are put up around them. Plain and simple, don't buy a house near a racetrack if you don't like the noise! Some people are idiots sometimes...well most of the time. Should have investigated the noise prior to buying! Track owners and sanctioning bodies have all taken steps to be good neighbors. Tracks do bring in money to the local economy.
