Love everything about Tulare. Except as I was shivering in the stands thinking about a nice hot cuppa coffee, I go down to the food stand and guess what? No coffee! Tulare has the worst food service of any track I go to. Of course I expect to be gouged on the price that's standard at most short tracks and that is why I bring my own grub. Also I would rather watch the racing than stand in the long lines for a bite. Beer? No waing there. T-shirts and other racing junk? no waiting there either. But the food service at most tracks seems to be off the radar screen.
Having said, that Steve Faria has done a terrific job, also Woodhouse at Hanford. But NO COFFEE, that is unacceptable!

Have to agree, as the night drew colder my wife and son did the rounds of the concession stands to no avail. I consoled myself with a beer, but they would have really appreciated a coffee by the end of the night. The tri tip was very good though.
That was our last visit to Tulare before we head back over the pond and it is definitely the California track that I will miss the most (coffee or not!).

That is classic!
I have one fan that comes out every race and has to have a cup of coffee. Even in July! So we make a cup of coffee.
