Hey everybody,

My name is John Reuter. I am a 17 year old high school junior from Hamilton, New Jersey. Hamilton is just outside of Trenton. For some reference, I live about 20 minutes from New Egypt Speedway, and about a 2 hour drive on the PA turnpike from the best weekly sprint car racing in the world, Central PA.

I also race a micro sprint in the 250cc stock class at Airport Speedway in New Castle, Delaware. It's a great class with some great racers, and its pretty affordable. It's basically a 270 car, and the motor could be easily converted to a 270 with some money. The beauty of the stock class is we don't have to change our pistons as often and we don't have to spend as much motor wise.

This helps my dad and I a lot, as we are on a very tight budget. I had never raced anything before last year when I started in the 250 stock class. However, I think it is somewhat evident I have improved over the past year and I'm starting to become a factor this season. On opening night we finished 2nd in our heat and ran 7th, battling a tight car most of the race. This past Saturday we won our heat and were headed for another top 10 but we ended up getting wrecked.

Racing the stock class is fun and enjoyable, but I am trying to get somewhere with my racing. Open wheel racing is my life, and I know I don't have the millions of dollars or rich sugar daddy to get me to it, but I still dream of some day winning the Indy 500, Knoxville Nationals, or the USAC triple crown. I feel like I have the determination, grit, drive, potential, and attitude to get there. However, the one thing my dad and I don't have is money.

With that said, we are looking for some potential marketing sponsors to help us out. Next season, we are looking to move up to the 270 class to run more tracks and some bigger races. We need some help for this. Eventually a couple seasons down the road, I would love to get into a 358/360 sprint or a midget and test the waters at that level. I can be taught, I can be very coachable, and I appreciate what my mentors and fellow racers have taught me. I am willing to do ANYTHING to earn sponsorship, and prove that I am worth the marketing partner's time and money.

Some ways I can help you or your business out is:

-by putting your name on my trailer. My trailer can be a rolling money maker for you. We travel an hour each way to our two closest tracks( Airport Speedway and also the Bridgeport quarter mile when we race there occasionally) and even further if we plan to go run some 270 shows in PA next year.We also utilize main roads to get to the tracks, Interstate 295 to get to Airport and Bridgeport, and the PA turnpike to get to Central PA. Your name can be visible to a ton of eyes.

- The internet! I have several resources I can use to help you out. I can post weekly press releases on Hoseheads, Microracing.com, Southjerseydirtracing.com, and the Williams Grove Speedway Message board. Plenty of people have viewed my posts on the other 3, but I am new to Hoseheads so we will find out how I fare here. I also have a facebook page for my team that is fairly new.

Please check it out and become a fan!

I can also not only help give you exposure by putting your name on my car and trailer, and posts on the internet, but a marketing partner could also give me business cards that I could hand around at the track! I have one sponsor who paints my car for free, and I have people come up to me every week asking for his card.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to view this post, I appreciate your time! I am willing to do anything to help out a marketing partner and promote them in a positive way. I think I have all but one tool to get to where I want to go, and that is resources, but I am still optimistic. I am willing to work out a big deal or a little deal. You can contact me by email at [email protected].

We are scheduled to race weekly on Saturday's at Airport Speedway, as well as several shows at Bridgeport and possibly a take part in Clyde Martin Memorial Speedways big Labor Day show. If I had the funds to get my hands on a competitive 270 motor, we would add a few more events to our schedule.

If somebody gives me the opportunity, I would do everything possible to promote myself, your company, and the sport of Sprint Car Racing in a very positive manner. I think the future of the sport is these young guns in micros and go karts, but somebody has to help them become the future. I will put all of my time and effort into working with a sponsor and making this a positive experience for them.

Thanks everyone and have a great season, hope to hear from you guys and glad I joined you guys on hoseheads.

Let's go racin',

John Reuter
