I am a long time dirt racing fan from western New York. Back in the mid-60's, I developed a huge interest in the super modifieds that ran at Enid and other tracks in Kansas, Texas, etc. I'm approaching retirement and finally have the resources to pursue my goal. That is to find a restored modified and make a street car out of it. I'm not looking for a car with history or anything special, just one that has the classic lines and is complete. Can you suggest any websites to check or organizations to contact? Any help would be appreciated.

Do like I did-
Get an old mid 80's roller style (Challenger/Stanton/Tognotti/Barnett) , put the body on that you want.
Joe Lingle has nice hoods and noses, and grilles in PA.
Speedway has tops and tails.
For the record- I have found a Hillegass grille looks nice fitted to an Edmunds supermodified nose. Fits the contour just fine! Lingle makes those too.
