This accident took place on Friday night in
Chico. The owner of the 48 car is an EMT and the fire chief in Linda,
Calif. He told me that his driver had a concussion but was otherwise
OK. The driver of the 55 car also had a concussion and a leg
fracture. Best wishes to both drivers for a speedy recovery. The crash
involved 8 of the 21 cars that started the race. 17 cars restarted and
the race was won by Joe Frock of Reno.
