Congrats to Stephen! Wish I coulda saw it. That Finley car has been pretty strong so far this year.

On a secondary note, I was at MRP, and a friend of mine was helping someone out at P-Ville. He made it a point when we had our little round table, summing up our nights, that he'd talked to Allard. Stephen wouldn't know him from Adam, but was super friendly, and by what I heard from my buddy, he was the nicest guy you'd ever want to talk to.
I always like to see, hear, or view these top notch drivers being so personable. I love to see it when a race driver isn't holier than thou. Wayne Johnson and Jesse Hockett are the best examples I can think of. Main stage guys that I've stood around and shot the snot with, but they treated me like a friend, even though they couldn't pick me out of a lineup, didn't even know my name, or where I came from.

That definitely sounds like the Stephen Allard I know. He's always been one of my favorite people to talk to in the pits and is a great asset to our sport.

Ditto what GT said....Stephen is the best. He's always one of the first to help out if someone wrecks and he is available too. Congratulations!

congrats to the guy who used to let me sleep on his living room floor at the place over on East Ave. back in the day when I used to shoot the go-kart races in Red Bluff :-).
