How many 360's do you think will show up to race in the month of May with Friday nights 410's at Silver Dollar Speedway ? At least the Promoter is trying something different.

But now they're getting extra cash. Similar to the travelling series did that YOU bitched about them doing.

no. its the same desperation but the big difference is sds is not trying to take cars away from civil war on the same night.

Come on man, the Civil War always has scheduled against GSC 410's or KWS... even when the promoter had both series. Wake up dude!

i remember jaime cobbe kicked 410 ass in finkenbinder's 360 in the early 90's. something like all they had in the shop at the time? maybe? if anyone remembers this and has more info let it out.

Offering some extra money/incentive to some 360 teams to come out and run against the 410's seems like a good situation for the 360 teams. They probably won't be in contention for the big prize at the end of the night, but if they get enough money to pay for the driver and crew to get into the pits, how is that a bad thing? Are they charging fans extra $$ to get into the stands to cover the extra payout?

With the relatively small fan turnout that SDS gets for regular shows, I'd guess that SDS doesn't make too much money on the regular Friday night show. It's the specials, like the KWS, Gold Cup, and maybe the Silver Cup that make money for the track.

i think you need to stick to match box racing. As people can see you dont know your 410 and 360 sprint car racing. CW and GSC have always competed against each other when John Padjen was running the show and when Handy was running the show. Ask your buddy John and Alan and please post what you find out after talking to them.
What I see, SDS is trying to do what KWS is doing .
SDS is definitely hurting in fans filling in the grandstands on Friday nights. Random Guy do you see the grandstand? or is it too full to notice there are empty seats? Even with them asking the 360 to show up they still are not getting the cars and crowd. Does any one know how many 360 did they have last night?
SDS will get more cars there next week for the Bradway Jr race and 360 cars too because it's a KWS show and just think they are running GOOD YEARS TIRES!!!
Random Guy please stay home next Saturday... its a KWS race at SDS just in case you didnt know.
