Sound Reminder!!!
-----------------
Ocean Speedway promoter John Prentice has advised that everyone be aware strict enforcement of the 95 DBA @ 100 FT sound limit will be in effect. Please understand everyone needs to do what they need to make sure they comply. Whether it is by mufflers or under hood sound deadening insulation or other means, everyone needs to understand the importance of this and try to work together to come up with ways to assure everyone meets the requirerments. This is not the doing of the track or the promoter. There is a strong attempt being made to shut down racing at the track. Sound and land use attornys have been hired by the speedway, the fairgrounds and track neighbors. We know the racing family will try to do everything it can to co-exist with everything and everyone. Racing in the area has been a valued and loved form of family entertainment for many years, it brings an added income to the county and the local area. We don't want now to be the time it ends.
