Tim Kaeding claims Chris & Brian Faria Memorial at Thunderbowl Raceway

Tulare, CA - April 16, 2011...San Jose's Tim Kaeding continued his domination of the Groppetti Automotive Thunderbowl Raceway on Saturday night by picking up the Golden State King of the West Sprint Car Series sanctioned Chris & Brian Faria Memorial.

It was Kaeding's 49th career Golden State 410 Series victory and came over Easton's Tommy Tarlton, Elk Grove's Kyle Larson, Grass Valley's Jason Statler and Medford, Oregon's Roger Crockett, who rounded out the top-five.

When did Tommy Tarlton get better/run into more money? When I lived in California a handful years back, I liked him because he ran maybe 3 410 shows a year and was a run what ya got kinda guy. Now he's running weekly and well to boot and has the funding to go Down Under and to Knoxville this year. Good on him. Go Tommy!

GT, great job of promting this new series. Looks like the 410's are doing well in CA. and are in good hands for the future.

TK and Tarlton were also 1-2 in the Ocean Sprints on Friday night at Watsonville.
