Missing the sights, smells and sounds of racing at "America's Home Track"??? Well, you don't have to wait much longer.
Next Thursday, April 14th is the first practice night of the year. Any class of car is welcome to come and see if their hard work over the off-season has paid off. Pit Gates open at 6, with pit passes just $10. Front gate admission is absolutely FREE!!!
But, it gets even better the following 2 nights as the 2011 racing season officially gets under way with the Icebreaker Challenge. Friday night and Saturday night both feature the Rev Honey IMCA Modifieds. Also on Friday night's card are the ASCS 360 sprints, the NAPA IMCA Sport Modifieds and the Good Old Time Racing Association with hot laps at 7 and racing at 8.
Then on Saturday the Rev Honey IMCA Modifieds return as the feature class, and the ASCS 360 sprints will compete again also. Additionally the Valentino's IMCA Hobby Stocks and the Exhaust Pros IMCA Sport Compacts will be competing. Hot laps will begin at 5:30 with racing at 6:30.
Front gate admission Friday will be $10 for adults, $5 for youths 6-12 and children 5 and under free. Saturday the adult admission is $15, youths $5 and children free. Front gates will open Friday at 6 and Saturday at 5.
Pit gates open at 4 P.M. both Friday and Saturday, with pit passes costing $25.
