Purse that was just reduced? WRONG!

USAC policy not valid? WRONG!

Purse that was just reduced? WRONG!

So the memo the teams received a week before the season began stating the purse was being reduced to $2,000 to win and $200 to start was incorrect? Why wasn't the proper information disseminated to the teams after they received the original memo?

USAC policy not valid? WRONG!

So USAC's policy will insure me at a ASCS race? Because that's what the poster was referencing: USAC's insurance policy at non-USAC sanctioned events.

Purse has been the same for first 3 races as it was last year. It will continue to be $2500 to win and $300 to start.

I mis-read the Insurance statement, so I am WRONG. Not sure about practices?

So if the USAC Coordinator cannot get the correct purse information to the teams and doesn't understand the sanctioning body's insurance policy, do you have a contact for someone we can call who can answer our questions correctly?

I want my questions answered by someone who has the correct answers. Get me that person and I'll gladly give them my name.

Again, there are still people who did not know the basic CRA purse was going to be paid this year after you sent a memo indicating there would be a purse reduction, so clearly you do have an issue getting information to your competitors.

Why wasn't another memo sent indicating the purse reduction WOULD NOT be taking place?

So it is possible for Chris Kerns to be wrong!!!!!! Well maybe you didn't know the whole story with "VRP" and Kevin Miller when you made us look like such a bad guy!!!!!!

Another thing! If you call the complete list of West Coast Promoters such good friends, why in the world would you sell them a "Late Model" Show, and take money from their family's mouth by keeping the ENTRY FEE/Back Gate Money.....Just asking, cause I try to help my friends, not take from them!!!!

Remember, you came onto my thread to try to disrespect me and discredit me! I have never posted on yours.

Big Steve, you're not exactly doing any better by disclosing private financial information from USAC and yourself. You two could do everyone a big favor and pick up a phone or send an email and keep your business dealings where they belong: On the books and off a public forum. Please do try to maintain some kind of professional image for VRP and USAC.

This may seem insignificant in light of the arguments here but it's not like Promoter is trying to do something that has not been done before. Open Sprint shows, on off Perris nights, have been going on for at least a couple or 3 years. And I am pretty sure some of them were on nights Santa Maria was running a Sprint show. Why not give the new guy a chance to show what he's got? There will be plenty of time to piss and moan later if he doesn't offer a good deal for both racers and fans. Seems to me could be a whole bunch of nasty grams over nothing. Then again, maybe not. JMO

Cowboy...I am actually embarrassed to say, but the structure was in place before I took the Track over..$1,000 to win and $100 to start....I did want to see the crowd turn-out so I could bonus the guys money if I could....Just being honest with you my friend!

If you hadn't chosen to immediately share your displeasure in a very public manner in the hopes you would be able to garner the public outcry, you probably wouldn't have had to disclose business information for a company in which you have no authority to.

The fact that Santa Maria is running a USAC 360 show is irrelevant to what Victorville does. You can count the number of CRA drivers and teams that have been to Santa Maria to run a USAC 360 in the past two years on one hand. I'm going to take a wild stab and say zero USAC 360 teams are going to skip a points race to run a 410/360 combo show in what amounts to a very long tow for guys like Carlile, Pombo, etc.

The 360/410 show at Victorville will have no more effect on Santa Maria than the GSC show at Antioch will the same night.

One last thing before I step away to swallow a bottle of Xanax to forget I ever participated in this discussion:

People wanted more non-wing shows at Victorville; the new promoter schedules more non-wing shows at Victorville. People complain.

People want USAC out; Victorville runs their shows without USAC. People complain.

People want USAC out, people say Victorville can't draw without USAC. People complain
