Are you sure that was Sammy and not a impersonator? That's about as long as I've heard him talk in some time. If the cars there for him at Calistoga look out, that's his kind of track.

Haters will say he only smiles and talks when he feels like it (when he wins)... I think the man tells it like he sees it. PC isn't his game although at times it has been with corporate sponsors watching.
If he wins the Nationals this year... I can't imagine that scene! Crowning achievement? Nah... it's just a hint he needs to keep doing it! Retirement? Absolutely not! Keep it up, Sammy!
