They try to get the races in , but they aren't really concerned about fans , JUST MONEY , THAT'S THE POLICY AT THE GROVE . Just look at the Grove National open , Mrs Hughes and her ticket policy and hours , no real cooperation to help fans , if you were there .

Outlaw races are totally different...
As a FAN, I have no problem getting tickets for my reserved seat.
Better luck next week...but those damn cursed Late Models are there!

I am not saying everything that Williams Grove does is right, far from it. But they made the right call to cancel last night. I live 40 miles away and woke up to 2 inches of snow yesterday morning. Yes, the sun came out much later in the day, but at noon, when they made their decision to cancel, the weather was still iffy. Unfortunately with today's economy, you will see more promoters across the country cancel rather than open the gates if the weather is questionable. That's just a fact of today's short track racing. Yes the diehards would be there, but the casual fan will stay home and thus the promoters are reluctant to take a chance.
