jason newton rookie driver of the wright one/valvoline shark powered maxim is ready to rock and roll this friday at ocean speedway. after moving from fremont to san jose since the last wright one 360 race jason is looking forward to continuing his driving apprenticeship. after his strong run from 18th to 8th in the last 360 race at ocean jason and the team are excited to being back in action and getting more experience with the car and the track. the challenge seems to be not making  mistakes says jason. he seems to think that with the slick surface that seems to be oceans trademark that the guy who can control the gas and his emotions as well will have a good chance of ending up at the front. hope to see all you race fans. i am looking forward to comming home after 2 weeks with the outlaw team and helping jason to the rookie of the year title. so come on down to the newton motorsports trailer after the race and say hi.
