To all, their is a note on the hoseheads forum that Rick Hendrix was transported after a bad flip at Ventura. He was unconscious at the time he was transported. Please keep this racer in your thoughts.

I got a text just after midnight saying he regained conciousness in the hospital and that he has a broken arm.

Three-car pileup coming out of turn two on lap 20 of the feature also involving Kruser. One of the other cars smacked head-on in to Rick's roll cage. Must have been 20 minutes or more until he was finally removed from the car. Lots of concern expressed by many. Best to Rick & hoping for a speedy recovery. Many Perris fans recall him in 410s during the '90s and Old Chicago Pizza after the shows.

I was there and saw it. Very hard, high speed car to car impact on Hendrix rollcage as he was airborne and upsidedown. Hendrix car ended up on his side. The other car perhaps tried to go towards the infield to avoid the accident but impacted Hendrix with his front end. I don't blame anyone for anything. The reaction times were so short.
