What's the deal:
Why hasn't anybody commented about what a great race Steve, Sammy, Saldana, Donny, and Meyers had Thursday night. It was one of the best races thaey have had in Las Vegas with slide jobs all over the place, Steve and Sammy starting on the front row, going 26 laps without qa caution and slicing and dicing through traffic like cracy. The track had multiple grooves and the final two restarts were amazing. I guess a lot of people only post when the track is bad and not when they get to see some really good racing from the best who ever strapped into a Sprint Car.

People only like to bash the WoO. I agree... it was a fantastic race. Like I have said before, you don't need huge 40 car field for a good race.

Didn't you get the memo Quick-time? Hoseheads has gone from 'Information Central' to being 'Bashers Inc.".
It won't be long before someone steps up and ruins this thread also.
Kudos to every driver who straps in for our entertainment!!
The worst race I ever saw was still better than the best day at work.
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

Agree this year seems to be getting off to a really sour start on the message boards. Don't know why the bad attitudes are showing their colors so early in a season that seems to be getting a great start with some awesome side by side racing. Chill pills for everybody.

I think this is a sad fact of life these days.... negativity gets action....
when good stuff happens ... it is ignored....
are we americans spoiled rotten???

When Charlie Sheen's melt down is the #1 headline for the past two weeks it tells you a lot about our society. Also two and a half men was the #1 rated show and it was a rerun against new episodes.

I too was wondering if anyone was going to say anything about the race itself. Just to have a decent surface to race on at the track should have been a story in itself.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

It was a great race and I was happy to be able to watch it. Great coverage with the multiple camera angles. Only complaint was switching away from the action when it was heating up and instead showing backmarkers etc..

I was there both nights Wednesday's race was great but Thursday's was really fun to watch we didn't sit down thru the whole race awesome finish the slide job Schatz was doing was cool

I can't stand people that stand during the "whole race!" Go watch a stupid nascar race if you want to stand all the time. This coming from a 30's something fan. Damn that shit annoy's me!

Went to see the Outlaws stayed for the Nascar, It was a great 2 nghts of racing even for a 1/2 mile track.

Thursday was a great race. I was there last year also and it was a great race. Steve might have won last year but made a mistake after the white flag and Jason Meyer got him at the checker. This year Steve made no mistakes and schooled veterans like Shatz, Saldana, and even Mr. Swindell on how to win the race in lap traffic and with yellows and reds at the end along with a going flat left rear.
If your heart wasn't beating on this one you may be dead.!
