While not a solution per say, in most browsers you can zoom in on a region of a webpage. Firefox is zoomed in easily by holding down the control "Ctrl" button and clicking the plus "+" sign to zoom in and minus "-" to zoom out. To reset to original resolution click control "Ctrl" and zero "0" key. That may provide you with a work around.
I have found on an older laptop I own that when I play "flash" based video it lags in full screen mode so I just zoom in as close as I can without causing any stuttering of the video. Generally works pretty well.

Are you playing it via Flip4Mac plugin? I usually login, grab the URL and paste it into a quicktime window and control it from there. I don't know if that works this year as they finally started looking at login counts! :-) AND, I haven't purchased Vegas.. It USUALLY is a yawner......
I wish programmers would recognize the MILLIONS (and growing daily) of mac users out here so I could quit firing up Parllels and Windows 7 on my mac...
