Man, it's a shame we don't get to have the Darryl Starbird car show anymore in OKC. Another piece of our Childhood / History taken away.
Maybe we should all just buy Horses. It appears that our City leaders would rather walk through Horse Shit in their Gucci shoes rather than just plain old dirt. Apparently, Horse Poop is easier clean off your shoes than plain old dirt.

Agree uncle, we might have a few more cars done by then as well. I think once it got move to the fiargrounds it was the beginning of the end of the starbird show.

Interesting note about the street legal open wheel machine..............
It was a USAC 'sprint car' raced by Tom Bigelow in the 70's. It was "stretched" to a dirt champ size to accommodate the automatic transmission to make it a street legal car.
