I rarely comment on these broadcasts because I agree with many that we should be thankful for what TV coverage our sport gets but this deal was little more than a pity fuck. You have, what they say over and over again, the "greatest midget race in the country" with so much action you can hardly take it all in and you give it an hour? In that hour you just give the Saturday A main? Seriously? WTF? This event deserves better. The promoters should demand better. Our sport deserves better. Speed needs to re-evaluate the mix of the types of motorsports they feature on that channel and do some re-allocation of that coverage because they are leaving a lot of what many even in their beloved NASCAR say is the best racing on earth out of the mix. At the very least they are giving it less than their fare share.

I agree but I think its all about how much money the promoters give SPEED to have it televised. I don't like to complain about broadcasts either and I think they did a great job on this one. just wish they coulda showed the finish to Wednesday's feature

Agree with what you guys are saying, but you would need about 8-10 hours of coverage to do the Chili Bowl any justice. Unfortunately networks are just not prepared to do this. At least we got to see the A main. Although I have never been to this event I have it on my bucket list, especially since I have family in OK.

What coverage they did have was pretty decent overall ... could have done without so many in-car shots though - a few were pretty interesting but way overused (probably because they were sponsored) ... but overall the show covered the A-main action fairly well. The show should have been at least another hour and shown some of the other races leading up to Saturday's A - but better to have a little than none at all ... barely.

GO STEELERS! My bad wrong post.... Did Sammy hit the brakes coming off of four? Seemed to me the car twitched to the right hard after having a left front of the ground with power off of four while the Bulldog was pushing in the middle...
