Missed seeing you too Philbert. It was a little different this year without you, Bo Daniels, Steve Schaefer, John Gibson or Bobby Gerould for Motorsport Video. Greg's fine spotter Gene brown-nosed Lanny into letting him remain guardian of the frontstretch, and informed me on Night One that my traditional spot would not be allowed. If I had known either of the shooters, I could've probably stayed. But they were football guys, I was told by Krohn, who let me watch from the suicide perch outside turn two. I had a plexiglass shield to protect face and nuts. By the third night, I solicited a wristband for the roof of the backstretch concession from Factory Kahne and watched features from there. Oh yeah, one of two returning camera guys did attack me after the race. Peace...
