G'day all

Not sure how many of you are big Twitter users but it can be a fantastic way to follow speedway results if you can't be there. I've been receiving live twitter updates from every World of Outlaws show for the past couple of years and it's a great way to stay in touch with events live as they happen, anywhere in the world.

You can use Twitter on any computer, or better still on your mobile phone.

For those of you who are interested I've set up a Twitter account purely for racing updates. Follow @highline_au for regular live updates from the Presidents Cup at Avalon tonight and at the Classic at Warrnambool on the weekend.

I'm also suggesting that anyone who is at the Classic in person or is following around the world and wants to tweet about events as they unfold should use the hashtag #GASC. This means you can look up #GASC and read what everyone has been writing and commenting about the Classic - just use #GASC in your tweet and we can all join in the discussion.

There's 96 cars entered for the Classic this weekend, including 10 Americans. 3 of the top 5 in 2010 WoO points... Meyers, Saldana, Dollansky, Darrah, Sides, J. Johnson, Allard, Wolfe, J Fisher and defending Classic Champ Shane Stewart. Plus top Aussies Tatnell, Madsen, Brazier, Dumesny, Farr and plenty of others.

See you on @highline_au

Here's to a sensational week of sprintcar racing.

A Bad day at a Sprint Car race is still better than a
good day at work...
